We retreive these cookies for a users' most recent calculation when they email us using The Website contact form(s) and include the encrypted information in the email to us. We will decrypt and use this information only when necessary to communicate regarding the request and resolve any issues then delete it.
The time card calculator and print feature may still work if you disable your cookies however, other Website features may not work.
The information contained in the cookies includes time card settings and all inputs. The information is first encrypted with a private key then the cookies are created and placed in your browser. As long as SSL is operational (an https connection) the cookies are transmitted between the Website and your browser securely. The encryption used is a private-key symmetric method however, We only intend to obscure information from being read by viewing the cookies themselves. Your cookies are accessible by anyone that has access to your browser. Your cookies may also be accessible through methods unknown to the Company. Anyone with access to the cookies can potentially use the cookies to reconstruct the associated time card at the Website and view the information in unencrypted form.
If you click on the calculator button to "Clear Time Card" your input data cookies will be cleared and expired. However, your settings for the time card (weeks, days, periods, etc.) will be retained.
If you wish to retain your input hours for your next visit to the Website, but would like to remove personal or sensitive information from your cookies, such as your name and hourly wage, you can do this by removing information from those input fields and then clicking "Calculate/Save". Your cookies should be reset without that information. When you return to the Website the removed information will not show because it is no longer contained in your cookies.

Report & Calculator Link Widgets: ("Email / Links" button)
With respect to Time Card Report & Calculator Link Widgets: Your time card settings and data are retreived from your cookies then contained in this link in encrypted form. The encryption used is a private-key symmetric method however, We only intend to obscure information from being read through the link itself. We cannot guarantee security of the information encrypted in the link.
When you use the "Email / Links" button on the calculator the links are created on the page for your access to copy them. At this point we do not record or access the links or the encrypted information.
When the links are used to visit the Website, the encrypted information is decrypted in order recreate time card reports and calculations with the contained information. Anyone that has access to the link will have access to the information contained in the link when they use it to visit the Website.
If data encrypted in the links contain information you consider sensitive and personally identifiable you have the option to 1. use the links as-is, 2. remove information from your time card calculation before you create the link or 3. just not use the links. Whichever option you choose you agree that the responsibility of that use is entirely with you, the user, and you accept full responsibility for their usage and security.
Printed Reports: ("Print / PDF" button)
With respect to Time Card printed reports we retrieve and decrypt the information contained in your cookies in order to create your personalized Time Card Report. We do not access or store this information during this process.
"Clear Time Card" Button:
The "Clear Time Card" button on the time card calculator, when clicked on, should delete and expire your name and input cookies. These are the cookies that contain information such as your name and date, hourly pay rate and your calculator input hours. Your data cookie that contains information for your time card setting (weeks, days, periods, etc) will be retained.
